Starting on the Sunshine Coast over 30 years ago, Andrew specialized in new home sales, working with local and National builders to design and quote on family homes. Andrew won the top sales consultant award with a Sunshine Coast leading project home builder for three consecutive years.

Andrew moved from Canberra (Royal Military College, Duntroon) in 1979, to the Sunshine Coast and has established himself as a leader in the community, having served 20 years as an elected member of the Caloundra City Council, founder of the Kawana Waters Chamber of Commerce and Industry (serving 2 years as President) and led the drive to establish significant planning blue prints for the community via the Kawana Waters Master Plan. These planning instruments included his initiative to locate a major hospital in Kawana which is now known as the Sunshine Coast University Hospital.

Andrew is a qualified Justice of the Peace, former Deputy Mayor and has a long history of serving the community through Surf Lifesaving, Scouting and many community and state government appointments. Andrew's expertise in the area is well regarded and he has a reputation for being passionate about his local community and raising the bar in environmental rehabilitation for the two major future planning areas in Caloundra South and Palmview.

Andrew's interests include, fishing, gardening, home renovation and camping trips to Fraser Island and Double Island Point. In his early days, Andrew was a N.S.W., regional representative in swimming and water Polo and State volleyball representative and a Sunshine Coast representative in Water Polo.

Andrew has an extensive knowledge of the Sunshine Coast community and his open and honest approach has many satisfied clients coming back to him for advice.
